Laurel Canyon tells the story of a rock producer whose straight-laced son and his fiancée move from back east to Los Angeles to finish their medical degrees. Once they move into the producer's home, complications ensue when the fiancée finds herself drawn to the rock-star lifestyle of the producer and her current, much younger lover, and the son finds himself attracted to a fellow med student.
